Houston Texans former first-round pick of the 2010 NFL Draft and longest-tenured Texan, Kareem Jackson, will be playing in his second NFL team for the first time in since entering the league nine years ago.
Jackson had one of his best seasons with the Texans last season, he had 87 combined tackles, 17 passes defended, five tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, two interceptions, one sack, and one quarterback hit.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Jackson agreed to a three-year deal worth $33 million with $23 million guaranteed. Jackson is the second player in the secondary to have signed a deal in the first wave of free agency.
