Davis Mills and No. 2 overall pick C.J. Stroud are currently splitting reps at quarterback with the first-team offense, while both newcomers and returners are still getting acquainted with their teammates and a new coaching regime. But less than a week into training camp, it's already becoming clear that defense is going to be the strength of this year's Texans team.
The defensive unit once again stole the show on Monday, delivering a pair of noteworthy interceptions followed by a dominant showing in the goal-line session at the end of practice. Linebacker Blake Cashman picked off Stroud for his second interception in as many days on the first play of team drills.
