HOUSTON -- Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and new safety Tyrann Mathieu said they think Bob McNair is a "great" man less than two weeks after the team owner said he regrets apologizing for saying, "We can't have inmates running the prison," in reference to player demonstrations and protests during the national anthem.
Hopkins was one of two players to leave practice the day McNair's comments came out last season.
"I don't really look into stuff like that and politics," Hopkins said. "I just come out and do my job and help this team win.
