HOUSTON -- The Texans' Week 2 game against the Carolina Panthers was an anomaly for receiver DeAndre Hopkins that early in the season.
He only caught five passes for 53 yards on 11 targets. Aided by one of the league's best cornerbacks in Josh Norman, the Panthers mixed up their coverages and found a plan that worked against Hopkins.
Norman lately has been touting his performance against Hopkins. On Monday, when one reporter said Patriots corner Logan Ryan was the first corner all season to shut down Hopkins, the tweet caught Norman's attention.
