HOUSTON -- Standing almost expressionless at the podium in Jacksonville Sunday evening, Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins addressed his 148-yard, two-touchdown game.
"It wasn't just the DeAndre Hopkins show," he said. "This was the Houston Texans show."
You could argue otherwise.
Hopkins pulled one pass in (up the sideline) with one hand. He trapped another on is helmet. One touchdown catch jumped from his chest for a second before Hopkins pulled it in for the catch. He made the other touchdown catch look easy, finding himself open through a double move -- single coverage on Hopkins rarely goes well for defensive backs.
