McNair, the Texans’ founder who died in 2018, was previously announced as the third recipient of the award after Leslie Alexander and George and Barbara Bush.
The other Legacy Award winners at the Jan. 21 event at the Hilton Americas are Texans’ outside linebacker Whitney Mercilus with the Sportsmanship Award and Astros owner Jim Crane as Executive of the Year.
