The 2016 NFL Playoffs kicks off this afternoon at NRG Stadium when the Texans, led by Brock Osweiler, take on the Raiders, who will be quarterbacked by Connor Cook. These teams don’t look nearly as exciting as they did when Tom Savage and Derek Carr were under center. The sad thing is that, unlike the Raiders, the Texans have returned to their starting quarterback for the season (who was eventually jettisoned for Savage because he’s just not that good).
After this game, one of these teams will regroup to likely face the Patriots in New England (unless the Dolphins upset the Steelers, in which case the winner of Texans-Raiders heads to Kansas City next weekend), while the other team will begin their offseason.
