Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is considered one of the cooler-headed quarterbacks in the NFL. But the even-keeled Stroud couldn't hide his disappointment following a certain selection in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
Stroud appeared devastated after the San Francisco 49ers selected Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall with the No. 31 pick in Thursday's draft. Stroud said Pearsall was "elite", adding "I wanted him bad."
"This last year, bro, he put it together," Stroud said during his appearance on Bleacher Report's draft show. "I just texted my boy, one of my best friends, and I texted him, 'dang, they got Pearsall, I wanted him bad.
