Days before he becomes the first member in the Texans' Ring of Honor at NRG Stadium, Andre Johnson had a proclamation at Houston City Hall naming a day for him.
City Hall proclaimed Sunday, Nov. 19 as "Andre Lamont Johnson Day."
Former Houston Oilers stars and Pro Football Hall of Famers Bruce Matthews, Elvin Bethea, Kenny Houston and Curly Culp were at City Hall to help Johnson celebrate.
"When I came here in 2003 I never thought I'd be given a day," Johnson said. "I came here just to play football and live out my dream.
