INDIANAPOLIS – Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg sounds as if he is already being coached by Bill O'Brien.
Hackenberg, who turned 21 last week, could be reunited with O'Brien, his coach at Penn State during his freshman year. The Texans need to draft a quarterback.
Hackenberg met with the media today at Lucas Oil Stadium. Asked about the possibility of playing for O'Brien and the Texans, he sounded like he already is.
"At the end of the day, I'm here just trying to be the best prospect that I can be," Hackenberg said.
That sounded like a typical response from Texans rookies.
