Holding a pair of powder-blue cleats with the words, 'Never Give Up,' on the side in the locker room, Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson said he's been involved in the Jessie Rees foundation since high school.
Rees was a 12-year-old girl who died in 2012 from brain tumors.
Watson and several other Texans players are participating in the third annual My Cause, My Cleats campaign.
Players have the opportunity to raise funds for their respective causes by auctioning off their cleats.
"I've been involved in this since high school through Nike," said Watson, whose mother is a cancer survivor.
