Veteran wide receiver Cecil Shorts III is taking a philosophical approach as he reflects on his time with the Texans.
Cut by the defending AFC South champions on Saturday, Shorts said he's already drawing interest from at least five NFL teams. Shorts, 28, was released as the Texans went with a youth movement at wide receiver led by Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, 24, and the emergence of young receivers Will Fuller, Braxton Miller, Jaelen Strong and Keith Mumphery.
"Things will work out," Shorts said Sunday in a telephone interview. "I ain't worried about it. It's part of the business.
