The Denver Broncos signed former Texans tight end Garrett Graham to a one-year contract Monday, reuniting him with former Houston coach Gary Kubiak.
A former fourth-round draft pick from Wisconsin, Graham joins the Broncos one month after the Super Bowl champions released former Texans tight end Owen Daniels.
Graham had expressed hope Friday night during a Project 88 charity gala at Ecclesia that he would be signed by an NFL team as soon as this week.
Graham caught a career-high 49 passes for 545 yards and five touchdowns playing for Kubiak in 2013. Over the past two seasons, he's started just 17 games with 22 total receptions.
