According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Houston Texans have agreed to a one year deal with Cleveland Browns former defensive back, Briean Boddy-Calhoun. He became an unrestricted free agent after the Browns decided not to tender him a contract for the upcoming 2019 NFL season.
Boddy-Calhoun is a versatile defender capable of playing both safety and the cornerback position. He played his collegiate football at the University of Minnesota before going undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft. Boddy-Calhoun signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent but was released prior to the start of the regular season as the Jaguars assembled their 53 man roster.
