HOUSTON -- The Kansas City Chiefs are often talked about as being a completely different team from the one that started the season 1-5.
One constant, though, has been their phenomenal pass defense -- one that played a major role in the whirlwind season Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer has had this season. Facing this ominous group, Hoyer had by far his worst game of the regular season. He threw a touchdown and an interception, fumbled the ball inside his team's own 15-yard line and had a Total QBR of 12.3, a season low.
"It was a tough game for us," said Hoyer, who was benched about two thirds into the fourth quarter.
