The quarterback suffered a concussion in the third quarter of the Week 10 victory at Cincinnati, and missed the end of that game and last Sunday's win over the Jets. He practiced Wednesday at the Houston Methodist Training Center, and head coach Bill O'Brien was glad to have Hoyer return to work.
"Good to have him back, and i thought he did a nice job," O'Brien said.
Hoyer's completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 1,704 yards, and has tossed 13 touchdowns and just four interceptions.
Backup T.J. Yates played in place of Hoyer.
