The Seattle Seahawks are changing their entire team. It’s been linked that Richard Sherman is on his way out, Earl Thomas has been in trade rumors going back to last season, Kam Chancellor and Cliff Avril may retire from football, and Michael Bennett was officially traded today to the Superbowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.
With these trades it’s apparent Seattle is looking to move on from an aging, injured, and expensive defense that was mediocre last year, and to free up cap space to get younger, and faster, and build around the 29 year old Russell ‘I can’t break tackles and take on big hits and avoid sacks forever’ Wilson instead.
