Breaking: Texans offensive lineman Jeff Adams out for the year

The Houston Texans offensive line woes continue as the team learned today that versatile lineman Jeff Adams will miss the remainder of the year with a torn patellar tendon in his right knee.

Adams was carted off in the second quarter of the game against Carolina this Sunday, and it didn’t look good immediately as he was covering his face in pain as soon as his leg was rolled up on.

The news hurts for Adams who had really played well since starting the season as the left guard in place of the injured Xavier Su’a-Filo in the first game against Kansas City.
