Yesterday, the Texans lost to the Colts 30-23. Jacoby Brissett completed 26 of his 39 attempts, averaged 8.4 yards an attempt, threw four touchdowns, and was sacked once. The Texans couldn’t cover T.Y. Hilton. They couldn’t cover Zach Pascal. They couldn’t cover Eric Ebron.
To make matters worse, Johnathan Joseph and Phillip Gaines left the game with injuries. Replacing them were rookie Xavier Crawford and special teamer Keion Crossen.
Rosters aren’t stagnant. They can change. General manager Bill O’Brien, who doesn’t care about the future and only cares about winning games this season, has now traded a third round pick to the Oakland Raiders for Gareon Conley.
