Breakfast: Three Texans earn PFWA honors

A trio of Texans were honored by the Pro Football Writers of America for their standout performances in 2017.

WR was named to PFWA’s All-NFL team, while OLB made the All-AFC team and QB was selected to the All-Rookie team.

Hopkins, who also earned AP First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors, led the league in receiving touchdowns (13), finished fourth in receiving yards (1,378), and ranked sixth in receptions (96).

In 2017, Clowney set career highs in sacks (9.5), tackles for loss (21), quarterback hits (21), tackles (59), games played/started (16), forced fumbles (2) and fumble recoveries (2).
