On Sunday evening, when the Steelers beat the Ravens, the Texans became the 4th seed in the AFC playoffs.
The Texans are 9-6 and face the Titans in Nashville next Sunday at noon CT. Pittsburgh is 10-5 after their
Christmas afternoon victory over Baltimore. Even if the Texans won and Steelers lost to the Browns next Sunday, Pittsburgh would still own the 3rd seed based on the strength of schedule tiebreaker.
The Texans will host a Wild Card Playoff game against either Kansas City, Oakland or Miami at NRG Stadium, and the winner of that contest would be at the top seeded AFC club the following weekend.
