On Tuesday afternoon, Texans cornerback and HBO’s Hard Knocks star Charles James II gave a motivational speech detailing his journey to the NFL to the Dickinson high school football team as they prepare to play North Shore on Saturday in the Region III-6A, Division I finals.
The event provided our digital department with a great opportunity for some unique in-season access, as we were able to ride along with James, mic him up and film him for the afternoon. In addition, James agreed to take over our Snapchat account, where fans got a behind-the-scenes, up-close-and-personal view of his trip.
