The Buffalo Bills have signed former University of Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver, their first-round draft pick, to a fully guaranteed $19.675 million contract, according to a league source not authorized to speak publicly.
Oliver received a $12.329 million signing bonus.
The former Outland Trophy winner and consensus All-American from Westfield High School was drafted ninth overall.

The only three-time All-American in school history, Oliver became the Coogs’ 14th first-round selection and the school’s highest drafted since the Cincinnati Bengals drafted quarterback David Klinger sixth overall in 1992.
