Brian Gaine's introduction to the NFL as a scout came under a football legend.
With the Jets in 1999, Gaine joined an organization that was run by Bill Parcells. Then the General Manager and head coach, Parcells' impact on the new scout was immeasurable.
"I can't say this enough: he really taught me the value and the essence of building a strong football program, and what a football culture looked like," Gaine said. "That's equally as important. I had a chance to witness it get built and not just hear about it or read about it."
Gaine would later work with Parcells in Dallas as an assistant director of Pro scouting, and in Miami as an asisstant director of player personnel.
