Bill O'Brien on Benardrick McKinney: 'Very instinctive player'

The natural instincts and football skills of Texans inside linebacker Benardrick McKinney have been on display all season.

Bigger, stronger and faster than most NFL linebackers at 6-4, 260 pounds, the former second-round draft pick from Mississippi State excelled in his second NFL season.

McKinney leads the Texans with a career-high 128 tackles, the eighth-highest total in franchise history. He ranks eighth in the NFL in tackles, behind the Seattle Seahawks' Bobby Wagner, the Dallas Cowboys' Sean Lee, the Buffalo Bills' Zach Brown, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Kwon Alexander, the Los Angeles Rams' Alec Ogletree, the Cleveland Browns' Christian Kirksey and the Baltimore Ravens' Zach Orr.
