It was an unusual situation Sunday when the Texans were forced to shift running back Andre Ellington to wide receiver.
Because Will Fuller, Braxton Miller and Bruce Ellington were all sidelined with injuries, the former Arizona Cardinals starter changed positions in the middle of the game.
He wound up catching five passes for 56 yards on six targets.
“We signed him as a back, we practiced him as a running back last week, but with where we were when we lost Bruce and then we lost Braxton , we had to make an adjustment if we wanted to stay in an 11-personnel grouping," Texans coach Bill O'Brien said.
