A year ago, the Texans made a big decision.
They would go with Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins at age 24 as the elder statesman of a revamped, young receiving corps.
From a mentoring standpoint, Hopkins did well as he provided leadership and tips to Will Fuller and Braxton Miller during their rookie seasons.
While Hopkins' production took a dip largely ascribed to since-traded quarterback Brock Osweiler's erratic throws, it was a case of mixed results for Fuller and Miller as the Texans' second and third receivers.
