C.J. Stroud said Wednesday being a rookie quarterback in 2023 is "something I don't miss." He now has advice for the NFL's latest collection of rookie starting QBs.
Stroud acquitted himself historically well in his first season with the Houston Texans. He led Houston on a surprise run to the AFC South crown, earning Offensive Rookie of the Year honors in the process. Stroud was the NFL's lone quarterback to throw 20-plus touchdowns and five-or-fewer interceptions in 2023. Only Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa threw for more yards per attempt.
Stroud's rookie season was largely a storybook.
