Reports out of the Houston Texans joint practices with the Green Bay Packers have DeShaun Watson’s backup, A.J. McCarron out for possibly the entire pre-season with a thumb injury.
The Texans turned to rookie Jordan Ta’amu, a quarterback they’d previously worked out to fill the void.
