The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts could become annual rivals for the AFC South crown in the coming seasons, with both franchises sporting talented young quarterbacks and rosters presumably on the rise. Something of a personal rivalry appears to be developing on opposite sides of the ball.
The war of words between C.J. Stroud and Indianapolis linebacker E.J. Speed began in February when the Colts' defender noted he plans to "mess [Stroud] up for the rest of his career." Stroud didn't take too kindly to the sentiment, responding this month with criticism of Speed's lack of production in last year's Week 18 win-and-in contest in Indianapolis.
