But the Yates have Colts roots. They were “diehard” fans, once.

The 5th-year signal-caller will start under center for Houston on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s the second time Yates will start in that venue, as he did so late in the 2011 season for the Texans. He was born in Indianapolis, and even took to the field in the Colts previous home.
“I remember back when it was the RCA Dome, doing a punt, pass and kick there whenever I was six or seven years old,” Yates said.
