You can hear the resignation in the voice of a reporter who has heard the same joke for 17 straight years when Jones defeatedly responds to McDaniel with a, "What's up, man?" before continuing on with his question.
Jones got a similar response from Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson during last year's playoffs, and seemingly in numerous encounters ever since the Houston rapper blew up nationally in 2005.
When Jackson went viral last January for pulling the same stunt, someone on Twitter asked Jones how he could stop from laughing at the reference.
“If 958,937,937,937 people hadn’t done it since 2005, I prolly would’ve,” Jones replied on Twitter.
