Three game balls from the Texans' season-opening loss to the Jaguars:
Shane Lechler, punter
He's 41 and playing in his 18th season, and he got off to a good start with a 43.2-yard gross, a 41.8 net and two inside the 20 with no touchbacks.
DeAndre Hopkins, receiver
The $81-million man caught a game-best seven passes but for only 55 yards. He scored the only touchdown. He was targeted 16 times.
Andre Hal, free safety
He contributed six tackles, played hard against the run, recorded a tackle for loss, and covered well enough.
