The Houston Texans have a problem at cornerback. They need warm bodies with a modicum of athletic ability to compete in offseason workouts, and training camp, and preseason games, to push what they currently have on the roster, and maybe, just maybe, they can find a winning lotto ticket lying on the stained sidewalk.
Houston currently has Vernon Hargreaves III, Lonnie Johnson Jr. (who is probably a safety now), Eric Murray (who doesn’t play a position and is bad at everything), Bradley Roby (who is suspended for week one), and Keion Crossen sitting on their roster. The Texans added another body to this group.
