Inside Linebacker Dylan Cole received his restricted free agent tender from your Houston Texans on Thursday. The contract is worth $2.14 million dollars for the 2020 NFL Season. This means Cole has been retained by Houston, but other teams could offer a contract greater than the tender, which would then give Houston the opportunity to match. The Texans wouldn’t be awarded draft compensation if they fail to do so.From this point on, it will be up to Cole to sign his tender once the new league year begins.
Cole endured a torn ACL during the Texans victory over the Indianapolis Colts back in November of 2019.
