The Texans were reportedly sniffing around the swing tackle market after deciding not to tender Roderick Johnson. This is an important position for any team nowadays. The Texans spent 2019 oscillating between Chris Clark, and Johnson, for some absurd reason, because Johnson was the better player who could actually do stuff, like get up to the second level in the run game, even if Clark was like a 3.7% better pass protector.
After all the sniffing the Texans came back with Johnson on a one-year contract, and Brent Qvale on a one-year contract.
