The Houston Texans should beat the Oakland Raiders at NRG Stadium this afternoon. Texans fans know all too well that “should,” especially with this team, means very, very little. While the Texans are arguably capable of beating any team in the NFL, they are undoubtedly capable of losing to every team as well. The Raiders aren’t pushovers, and the Texans are going to have to earn a win today if they want to move to 5-3.
Let us hope Bill O’Brien realizes that the rules do in fact permit teams to throw on first down, and that Deshaun Watson leads his squad to a bounce-back victory this afternoon.
