Greg Mancz is a backup center/guard for the Houston Texans now that Zach Fulton and Senio Kelemete were signed. If Nick Martin stays healthy, Mancz will be stuck in this role. Mancz is a good football player though. In order to keep him on the roster as a restricted free agent who has accrued three NFL seasons, the Texans placed a second round tender on him. This meant that Mancz could negotiate with other teams, but Houston had the chance to match and would have received a second round selection if Mancz signed somewhere else.
