2015 NFL Draft: Houston Texans Select Kenny Hilliard

With their seventh round and final selection (barring a trade)in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select LSU running back Kenny Hilliard. A 6’0″, 226 pound running back who worked in a committee and only rushed 90 times in 2014.

Hilliard did average 5.0 yards a carry his final year in LSU, and finished his collegiate career with a respectable 5.2 yard per carry average.

He rushed for 1,557 yards and 11 touchdowns in his four seasons and can come in and compete for a spot on the Houston Texans depth chart which included running backs Arian Foster, Alfred Blue (also an LSU back), Jonathan Grimes and recently signed Chris Polk.
