With less than two weeks to go until the start of the 2017 NFL Draft, we're looking back at the 2nd round history of the Houston Texans.
Since 2002, a dozen players have been selected by the Texans in the second round of the Draft. The team's 2nd-round picks in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2012 were dealt away.
The first notable 2nd-rounder is Chester Pitts. An offensive lineman out of San Diego State taken with the 50th pick of the 2002, Pitts was a mainstay up front for the Texans from his rookie year through 2009.
