In a shocking move, the Houston Texans have traded Brock Osweiler to the Cleveland Browns, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Stunner: Texans trade Brock Osweiler AND 2018 2nd-rd pick to CLEV for Browns to take Osweiler contract off Houston books, sources tell ESPN.

Along with the second-round pick, the Texans are sending 2017 sixth-round pick to Cleveland, while all Houston gets in return is Cleveland’s 2017 fourth-round pick.
Schefter also says that the Browns are "not committed" to keeping Osweiler, and will try to trade him. With plenty of cap space this offseason (over $100 million), Cleveland is absorbing Osweiler's contract in order to get the draft picks, which is what they really wanted.
The move saves Houston $16 million in cash and $10 million against the salary cap this season, giving them more cap space to pursue Tony Romo.
The Texans signed Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million deal last offseason, but were very unimpressed with him. He ended up losing the starting job to Tom Savage at the end of the year. Osweiler finished 2016 with 2,957 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and 16 interceptions while completing just 59 percent of his passes.
