The Houston Texans beefed up their secondary on Monday, agreeing to terms with former Denver Broncos safety Rahim Moore on a three-year deal worth $12 million.
Moore, 25, has started in at least seven contests for each of his four years for the Denver Broncos, but he's likely most notorious for being the defensive back closest to Jacoby Jones on a touchdown that ended a heartbreaking double-overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens back in 2012.

Regardless of that, Moore, who was a second-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, tied for the team lead in 2014 with four interceptions. He mostly played free safety for the Broncos and was one of just wo players -- safety T.J. Ward being the other -- to play at least 1,000 snaps for the Broncos defensive unit this past season. Moore led the team with 1,054.
His durability, youth, and increasing intelligence as a defensive back could make him a major coup for the Texans as they look to push themselves over the top and into the playoffs in 2015.
