In a cryptic edition of Texans rumors for your Friday, the Houston Texans may have narrowed down their list of choices for the number one overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft to three -- with little in the way of an answer available as of yet.
So tweets Scott Bischoff, member of the Pro Football Writers Association:
Talking to someone I trust today concerning No. 1 overall pick. GM wants Bridgewater, HC wants Clowney, Owner wants Manziel. I'm not helping

The Houston Texans have been linked to Teddy Bridgewater, Jadeveon Clowney, and Johnny Manziel throughout the lead-up to May's 2014 NFL Draft, with several NFL sources indicating that the Texans covet Clowney as a defensive game-changer with the first overall pick.
However, both Teddy Bridgewater and Johnny Manziel would make perfect sense for a Houston Texans team which traded former starting quarterback Matt Schaub to the Oakland Raiders earlier this offseason. Johnny Manziel could end up being a huge draw for the Texans financially due to his Texas roots, which may be why Houston Texans ownership stands behind him as their choice.
