In Texans news tonight, the Houston Texans have a quarterback controversy brewing which may take the entire length of training camp to completely settle.
However, FanSided's Brian K. Patterson believes that "the choice is clear" when it comes to who the starting quarterback should be in 2014 - and that pick would be Case Keenum.
Patterson writes of the rapport that Keenum had with wide receiver Tyron Carrier at Houston, and believes that "the same rapport can be revived with Andre Johnson, who is not pleased with the progress of the development of the current roster. He was the only quarterback that he seemed to have a connection with this past season and I think there’s a way that this can work."
Patterson thinks that it would be in the team's best interest to work with that growing rapport, and slot Ryan Fitzpatrick as the backup, and T.J. Yates as the emergency option.
While that may be the direction the team takes in the end, nothing is settled at the present moment - and it doesn't look to be settled anytime soon.
