Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cary Williams had some very interesting things to say about Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson after Philly's 31-21 win on Sunday.
“He’s not the same guy,” Williams said after the game, per Matt Hammond of SportsRadio 610 in Houston (via Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk). “Not the same guy.”
Williams wasn't referencing Johnson's skill set so much as a marked difference that he sees in Johnson's demeanor.
“I don’t know if he’s happy,” Williams said. “I”m not sure. I know he had some disputes before the season in a couple years now."
“But I know Andre Johnson," he continued. "I know what he’s done over his career. Just the attitude. It just wasn’t the same.”
Johnson had just two catches for 12 yards against the Eagles. He has 48 catches for 583 yards and just one touchdown over the first nine games of the 2014 NFL season.
