There are many famous uses for number 24. There is, of course, the 24-second shot clock, the famous 24-hour clock on the FOX thriller 24. (Jack Bauer needs to come back). For Rockets fans going into the 2019-2020 season, the number 24 is on the opposite end of that spectrum. It has been 24 years since the last Houston Rockets championship in 1995. The current iteration of the Rockets have been close but has fallen short. Of course, having one of the top 2 players in the league in James Harden makes you a contender every year.
