Amen Thompson continues to rise as one of the NBA's most improved players in his second season. Thompson added a career highlight to his reel in Monday's 114-112 win at the Boston Celtics.
Not only did Thompson tally a career-high 33 points in the victory over the defending champions. He also registered his first-ever game-winning shot—a floater inside the lane with just under one second remaining.
After hitting the shot, Thompson was feeling pretty good.
"Oh, that's my first game-winner,” Thompson said in a postgame interview. “I feel like Kobe."
