Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is expected to miss at least three months with a broken hand, the team announced Friday.

In a release, the Warriors said Curry underwent surgery to repair his broken left hand (second metacarpal) at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles Friday morning, and an update on his status will be provided in three months.
Curry sustained the injury during the team's Wednesday game against the Phoenix Suns, and left the game in the third quarter.
