Houston Rockets fan favorite Vernon Maxwell will take the First Shot before Game 5 of tonight's Rockets-Jazz series at Toyota Center.
The First Shot is a new concept the Rockets introduced this year with a celebrity shooting a free throw before every game. If the celebrity makes the first, the Rockets give $5,000 to charity. If they miss the shot, the Rockets give $1,000 to charity.
