I’ve been thinking a lot lately about Clint Capela’s performance against the Warriors, particularly the manner in which Draymond Green managed to make the former a complete non-factor on the offensive side of the ball during the Western Conference Finals. As a starting point, I’d ask that you think back to last summer when Houston had been disposed of by the San Antonio Spurs after Rockets shooters were chased off the three-point line but with Pau Gasol parked at the basket. It was said that Houston’s system wasn’t conducive to success at the highest levels because too much spare change was left on the table in eschewing the mid-range.
